SCTPLS Names HPS Founder & CEO Henry L. Thompson, Ph.D., New President

(Dick) Thompson, Ph.D., president & CEO of High Performing Systems, Inc., in Watkinsville, has been named President of the Society for Chaos Theory in Psychology and Life Sciences (SCTPLS) for 2008-2009. Dr. Thompson is an award-winning organizational psychologist, an internationally-recognized consultant and a researcher and author on topics such as leadership, team development, complex systems and high performance.

As President, Dr. Thompson will chair the 19th Annual International SCTPLS Conference to be held on July 23-25, 2009, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. The conference brings together scholars from around the world to present recent developments in nonlinear dynamical systems theory—including chaos theory, fractals, complex systems and related topics.
